Think Scarlett is a great choice.
Will now really depend on the director/script.
It needs to be totally new, a seventh version of the matrix. Neo was the sixth.
Question is will this now "deleted" sequence take some of the excitement out when Elizabeth Shaw ( Noomi Rapace ) gives birth to the very first ever alien/hybrid as the story progresses further? Because as a director you really want the audience to see/feel that connection in that birth scene.
Marvels' superhero characters' are more streetwise and easily relatable than DC's, so it's probably easier to write.
Have to say did not get to see Force Awakens in the big screen.. but what's up with not coming out with 3D version?.. when is it going to be released?
I'll wait and see but do honestly believe they won't be able to top the original, it just had everything going for it.
The terrible pressure cooker relationship between some the actors, director, producers made the film even greater.
Add the awe-inspiring space age sci-fi soundtrack which catapulted the film into epic filmdom.
And then there were a couple of jinxed/cursed billboard ads that all went downhill that were shown on the film.
One of the Best intro credits for any TV series.
Am just getting into this.. so many good Superhero shows to watch these days.
What sets the first season apart and made it quite a very enjoyable watch is that it had a lot of connections or tie-in-the-knot story for Miss Peggy with the first Captain America movie.
While the second season had bits and pieces that makes you see the beginnings of Hydra which in a way has consequential connections with Agents of SHIELD. Also it's more action packed I think besides a couple of love interests' brewing for Miss Peggy.
Think they picked the right actors for the reboot.
Reading the article, would have been great to see (mostly) all the original casts' back and utilize Aykroyd/Ramis collaboration for a draft of GB3 scripts.. sadly circumstances just wasn't on their side which is a shame.
Am a fan of Kristen Wiig and Kate McKinnon, am sure all the casts' will do the film justice.
Still so many questions left unanswered.
Felt like the fight sequence ( Mulder and other guy ) could have been shortened and put their effort/more scenes with the alien DNA story plot.
It's like The End and then a question mark.
It's not 3D., 3D has depth perception.
Just CGI.
The placebo effect/response is all that matters with the "fake" mushroom, whether it be a negative or a positive does not mean a thing., it's all about the outcome.
I feel it won't re-create the atmosphere, the tension and the probably most amazing/best movie sound track ( by Vangelis ).
But will still eagerly anticipate for it's release.
Liked Ryan Gosling role in Drive, thought that was an amazing movie.
It's a great episode. It's simply a metaphor.. people putting too much emphasis and effort on such a basic human instinct.
One of the most copied art style/design by a lot of animation studios but they simply cannot match it's impactful underground humor.
Avatar's highlight was also introducing 3D-tech as it was meant to be properly experienced during those times.
Maybe Star Wars should introduce it with VR-enable(?!) upon release on Blu Ray disc.. dunno if it's even applicable and the experience can be replicated onto VR.
I'm always a comics fan and I love both Marvel and DC.
With live-action blockbuster movies Marvel did take the lead and with better progression of the various character/story/plots has sustained that lead. Add the very well thought out Marvel TV series' that has cross-over plots with their cinema counterparts.
DC sort of stumbled with their early foray ( mind you even Marvel had glitches too but was saved because they have a much wider base to choose ), alt...
Spot-on! This will be a great Marvel flick.
So many vile comments, am going to give the movie a go.
